In the Icehotel village on February 13th after a cranberry vodka at the Absolut Icebar
(after making sure that my lips don't get stuck on the glass made of ice) we step out to find that the solar winds are hitting the atmosphere with force that night, and the next 2 hours are an unforgettable spectacle which will make you giddy if you have never experienced an aurora. Just a couple of days earlier in Abisko the nicest family from France and I had caught a first faint glimpse of the aurora, high up on the mountain at the Aurora Sky Station. Isabelle, I will post the pictures from that night, soon!
