Meet....THE BULL.
When he trots into the arena there is something menacing about him, and since we are in Fort Worth rather than Madrid, the bull might be angry, but not nervous. The cowboys instead are excited and nervous -with good reason. If you can somehow keep yourself on the furious bull's back for 8 seconds it's a small miracle. Eventually though, you will be thrown off, you are on the ground, and you risk being trampled or gored. This happened just a week ago at Las Ventas in Madrid to famed matador Julio Aparicio who is now fighting for his life. In the Cowtown Coliseum they make it as safe as possible, the show consists of different elements, and the crowd is thoroughly entertained.
