If you happen to be in Stockholm between now and April 25, 2010, this is the exhibition to catch: Lee Lozano at the Moderna Museet.
A long overdue retrospective of her work, the picture shows 5 of the large canvases from the famous series of 11 wave paintings in the collection of the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, Connecticut. Here is a link to the Moderna Museet's website that gives the exhibition details. http://www.modernamuseet.se/en/Stockholm/Exhibitions/2010/Lee-Lozano/
It is surprising that Lozano is not exactly a household name, yet, although this retrospective will surely be an important step toward greater recognition. For a period of time during her relatively brief career her work was sexually very explicit - yet very humorous at the same time, and one can still detect a hesitance concerning a wide distribution of images of these works (even in the link above), as endless disclaimers would be necessary. Of course there are many things to see in Stockholm, the National Museum is always worth a trip, as are the many other sights.
